Section 9. Settings Overview You can customize some of the program settings using the Administrator control panel. This section contains the following topics:
To customize the settings, choose Settings from the menu (see picture 32):
Admin settings Choose Settings > Admin settings to edit the Administrator information (see picture 33).
The form that appears contains the following fields:
Displays a user login name. This field is not editable. Displays an administrator e-mail address. Visitors of the site can use this e-mail to contact the administrator about a particular property. This field is mandatory.
This field allows you to enter new password to access the control panel. Fill in this field if you want to change the password. Otherwise leave this field blank.
This field is used to re-enter new password to access the control panel to avoid accidental input errors. The value of this field must match the value entered in the Password field. You should fill in this field if you want to change the password. Otherwise leave this field blank . If all of the values have been set correctly, then after clicking the Save button a message is displayed notifying that the Administrator user settings have been successfully changed. Images settings Choose Settings > Images settings to set the image size, as well as choose default images. The page contains two forms: image setup (see picture 34) and default images (see picture 35).
Image setup form has the following fields:
Displays the image width to which all thumbnails of additional property images are resized. Image width is calculated according to the aspect ratio of the image. This field is mandatory, it must contain an integer value.
Displays the image width to which all full-sized additional property images are resized. Image width is calculated according to the aspect ratio of the image. This field is mandatory, it must contain an integer value.
Displays the image width to which all property images in the lists are resized. Image width is calculated according to the aspect ratio of the image. This field is mandatory, it must contain an integer value. If all of the values are set correctly, then after clicking the Save button a message is displayed notifying that the image settings have been successfully changed. The default image form has the following fields:
The default extra thumbnail image for a property. This image is used on the property detailed information page when there are no uploaded images for a particular property.
This field is used to upload new default extra images. When you upload a new image, two files are automatically updated: the default extra thumbnail image and full-sized image. The settings entered in the Maximum width for small extra image and Maximum width for big extra image fields in the Image settings form are used to resize these images (as well as all other additional images). You should fill in this field if you want to change the default extra image. Otherwise leave this field blank.
This field is used to enter text for the default extra image.
The default image used in the lists of properties that have no uploaded images.
This field is used to upload new default images for the lists. The value entered in the Maximum width for list image field of the Image settings form is used to resize this image (as well as all other images used in the lists). Click the Save button to save the changes.
